How to Make a Healthy Sandwich and Chips, With Beer

A lot of people love making sandwiches. There's just something extra tasty about a sandwich you made for yourself in your own kitchen with fresh ingredients, but it doesn't have to be a gut buster with over a thousand calories. It would surprise many people that meals like this are very high in calories, but there's a lot you can do to lessen the calorie count.
The first choice you need to make is which bread you want. I suggest a high fiber wheat bread. There are many different kinds in most grocery stores, so take your pick. The secret to making it lower calorie is in how you slice it. You could slice it in half normally, feebly trying to cover your cheese and meat, or you can slice it in half by width making the slice half as thick, but having two full size pieces. You'll want to wrap your sandwich in a paper towel or napkin to hold it together though. The benefit is in that fact that a single slice of bread usually has 100 calories, and using one instead of two will help you eat less.
Next we need the fillings. Try to be vegetable heavy. You should have lettuce or spinach, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, cucumbers, and any other vegetable you like. I also add spicy mustard, but avoid mayonnaise unless it's fat free. Now look for low fat meats, if you can find them that would be good, but let's not kid ourselves. Load up some salami, pepperoni, or other sandwich meats. Just remember that the goal is not a heart attack, it's being healthier, so less is more.
Now we want some potato chips. Depending on how good you can be with portion control will determine the kind of potato chips you should have. If you like to stuff several chips into your pie hole at a time, then maybe you should pick the baked chips with less fat and calories. Once you get used to them they are just as good as the regular ones, just with less grease. If you split each chip into thirds and pick at them then go ahead and get a tasty kettle cooked potato chip. You should pick at pieces of them slowly, not handfuls.
Try light beer, or an amber ultra light. Also drink plenty of water, that's the secret key to most weight loss programs. It keeps you full and hydrated, which helps burn fat if you're also exercising. Good luck, and good eating! [http://halloweencookies.info/]Halloween cookies.
